How to Install Nissan Frontier Rear Middle Window Decal
WEATHER WARNING
The temperature at which you install your decals is the most critical element. Temperatures must be between 50°F and 85°F.
The weather that the decals are exposed to cannot go below 50 degrees for 3-5 days. This is due to the water used during the installation. The time is needed to allow the water between the decal and the window to completely evaporate. There may be bubbles in your decal until the water has fully evaporated.

Clean Window
Thoroughly clean the window area where the decal will be installed. Make sure to clean it very well to remove any recent waxings or coatings.

After you have cleaned the window, clean it with the included isopropyl alcohol cleaning cloth to remove any remaining residue. Allow the isopropyl alcohol to fully evaporate.

Test Fit
Hold the decal up to the window so you can test-fit it. Get a feel of where the decal will be placed.

Peel Back Top Half of Backing Paper
You can now peel back the top half of the backing paper from the decal. Be careful not to let the decal’s sticky back wrap around itself or touch anything. This could cause it to stick to itself and create creases.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to peel back the backing paper slowly. Doing so too quickly can cause the decal to stick or rip.

Mist Window With Water
Using a misting bottle, mist water over the area of the window where the decal will be installed. Not misting the window will make it very hard to install the decal cleanly and flat.

Place The Decal
Place the decal on the window. You can gently move the decal a bit to position it correctly. The water allows the decal to be gently repositioned.
Make sure to note your earlier test fit to find the center location of the window.

Squeegee Out Water & Peel Remaining Paper Backer
Starting from the center of the decal, use the included squeegee to squeegee out the water from between the decal and the window.
Work out any bubbles while the application tape is still installed. Make sure to start from the center of the decal and work outward. If you do not follow this step, you can create creases or wrinkles. Take your time and don’t apply excessive force.
Start with the top of the decal where the paper backer was peeled back. After you have worked out the water from the top part of the decal, slowly peel back the remaining paper backer in a downward motion while squeegeeing the application tape in a slow downward motion.

After the application tape is fully removed, work out any remaining trapped water through the decal and window using the included queegee.

Remove Application Tape
Starting from the corner of the decal, peel back the clear application tape.
IMPORTANT: When removing the application tape, make sure to do so slowly. Going too quickly can cause the decal to lift from the window.

While peeling back the application tape, take your time and peel in a sharp 180-degree opposite direction while laying it flat on the window. Again, go slowly to not lift the decal from the window.

Let Decal Dry
When using water for any automotive decal install, it is highly recommended that you let the decal dry for three days in temperatures of 50 degrees or higher. These temperatures include nighttime temperatures. We do not recommend a heated garage if the outside temperatures go below these recommendations.
Over the next couple of days, you can gently work out any remaining bubbles in the decal with a soft-edged squeegee. If your squeegee has a hard edge we recommend you wrap it with a soft cloth so you do not scratch the decal. Small bubbles will disappear over time as the decal continues to dry.
